Short Film Score Update

Well hello there, changing leaves, chilly nights, and new classes. Time sure flies while I am working hard. As I wave goodbye to summer I finally have a moment to reflect on what I have been up to creatively. 

I am trilled to share a new short film score for Director Matt Lennon's new short "Dad's 50th Surprise Party." This is my second score collaboration with Estival and Matt Lennon (view the first here: https://vimeo.com/98994947). This time, the whole film was nearly a blank musical canvas. After many experiments and a couple different versions, the film's sound came together in a wonderfully beautiful way. The film has not been released just yet, I will post an update when it is public!

I have been working on leveling up my producer and audio production skills, and feel like I progressed light years over the last three months. From simply understanding how to run ProTools, days of research on microphones, audio interfaces, and other pieces of hardware, to helping in facilitating strong preformances from my fellow musicians and collaborators. I think the best thing about leveling up is that there are usually more levels! I am super excited to continue my research and practice in this area and see where it takes me. Cheers everyone!
